Our new Savvy REST API gives you all the functionality that you can expect from a Gift card processor API. From seeking the balance on a plastic or digital giftcard, to activating a digital or plastic card number to using the card number in the payment process, the modular architecture means you can use our APIs to suit your business.
1. Loading
Gives you the ability to load value to a giftcard. The loading can be the initial activation transaction to a plastic card, a subsequent load to a plastic card or the initial activation and request of a digital code.
2. Redeeming
Redeeming is the process of reducing funds from the giftcard (plastic or digital) in the payment process. Our redemption API's can utilise a PIN or not, and this is usually determined by whether the transaction is a Cardholder not present (with PIN) or cardholder present (no PIN) redemption
3. Balance
This API provides your customers with real-time balance information opn their card number. Our balance API's can utilise a PIN or not, and this is usually determined by whether the transaction is a Cardholder not present (with PIN) or cardholder present (no PIN) balance enquiry..
